Club Meets
Welcome to Rhyl Power Kite Club. We are a group of local kite enthuasiasts with the goal of promoting and enjoying all types of kite flying including flying static, kite buggying, kite boarding and kite surfing.
The club meets every other Sunday on Rhyl beach by the Suncentre from 2pm

Beginners are always welcome, we have kites available for people to try and our members are friendly and willing to help newcomers to the sport.

What have you all been up to over the winter, any major achievements, new tricks, scary moments! Been on holiday or to an event, have any great pics you want to share. All suggestions for content welcome, please email to news@rhylpowerkiteclub.co.uk
With spring in the air at the moment and the light nights on the way Kite Club will be stating up again on Sundays from April 5th. We hope to see some familiar faces back on the beach as well as some new converts this year. After a winter of Southerly’s has had us traveling far and wide chasing the wind we hope to have some decent Northerly’s to enjoy our local beaches this summer.
The Forum is still up and running (see tab at top) Last year it was a really useful way to let others know where you are kiting or share stories of a good day on the beach. Its also a great place for a "newbie" to make contact with us or ask for advice.
