Rhyl Power Kite Club started out as idle chat by a bunch of friends who were sat around on the beach one day at sunset. Wouldn't it be a good idea, we thought, to set up a bit of an informal club for people in Rhyl and the surrounding areas.
The "Plan" is to set up a completely informal meet of kiters once a week on Rhyl Beach. Power Kites, Stunt Kites, Traction Kites, Single Line Kites... Any kind of kite is welcome. Keep an eye on this site for the time and date of the meets and if you can, please pop down to the beach. If you don't have a kite by all means come down and have a natter with us, the idea is to try to make it a social thing as well for people who are interested in power kites. |
